  1. That was such a good match from both teams. Mario did a really good job at the end scoring the bst goal of the match, GO Italy 🙂

  2. Why Brazil coaches including Mr Scolari are not thinking about Defence Strengthening ?. Brazil has one of the best young attaking & Midfield talent Neymar, Oscar, Lucas, Marcillo,. Why again Scolari calling back retired Players when they failed at 2010 World Cup Ronaldinho, Kaka, Fabiyano..etc

  3. The goodworks by the Midfields & forwards of Brazil
will always be more than neutralised by Casual , Lazy
Not-so alert back line up .Thats history. One fine example
what was Carlos doing when Zidanne took the freekick
straight into Henry s head unmarked in the second post?
in 2006 World cup .DEAR SCHOLARI- TAKE CARE OF
THE DEFENSE THE TITLE WILL BE BRAZILS -NO DOUBT
.Just forget about how to score or who will score

  4. Attacking teams always have difficulty in defense. This has little to do with the coach, and more with the rhythm of the game– as long as the game plan is to dominate possession. When a team continues to attack and dominate, its almost inevitable for the defense to get caught off guard.

Now, if Brazil decided to make their primary objective defending as a team, then they would have to switch their attacking gameplay to counter attacking. This would help their defending tremendously because it would be their focus the entire game (when done correctly). This would be so because the counter attacking team refuses to take possession. Meaning the counter attacking team is defending for the greater part of the game. Counter attacking surrenders ball possession to the other team because counter attacks are direct, last very little, and ultimately give the ball back to the other team– until the next counter attack, or until the counter attack results in a goal. I think Brazil has a perfect team to do this. They have fast players up-top with whom they can counter attack well. But I doubt brazil would like to see their team focus on defending primarily, and attacking only via counter attacks. Although, IMO, this would be more efficient, and would probably allow them to concede less goals, and win more games.

  5. LOL – when and where is Brazil defense. They never had a proper defense like any other country has. Their offense and mid field play compensates for the defense. Brazil only knows to get rid of the ball and that is what defense means to them. Generally they have a good GK who blocks the goals and everyone are just looking to get rid of the ball. So do not expect defense will be solid for Brazil….I do not…
