This Alphonso Davies run vs Barca and eventual assist for Joshua Kimmich’s goal against the Catalans was another evidence of the talent that lies at the Canadian left back’s feet. Literally runs past several Barcelona defenders and creates a marvellous opportunity, which is finished off by Kimmich. Poor defending from Nelson Semedo and Gerard Pique though.

Didn’t think Davies would establish himself so quickly into the Bayern setup. This has really been a breakout season for him, and kudos to the Bayern scouts.
Hopefully it has a positive effect on the game in Canada and they can get to a World Cup finally.
