Barcelona’s most expensive sales- List of Barca costliest outgoing player transfers

With Malcom’s imminent move to Zenit, here’s a look at Barcelona’s most expensive outgoing player transfers (sales) in their history. Neymar to PSG obviously trumps everything else with its 222 million euro transfer, but it’s interesting to see how many of these big name sales have happened in the last decade. It also shows the significance of Luis Figo’s transfer to arch rivals Real Madrid two decades ago- his transfer eclipses all but Neymar’s one.

Barcelona’s most expensive sold players (all figures in million euros)

1) Neymar to PSG (222)
2) Luis Figo to Real Madrid (60)
3) Paulinho to Guangzhou (47.5)
4) Malcom to Zenit (40+5)
5) Alexis to Arsenal (40)
6) Fabregas to Chelsea (36)
7) Cillessen to Valencia (35)

Fenerbahce 3-5 Real Madrid Player Ratings Audi Cup 2019 | Benzema stars with hat trick

Defensive problems continued to haunt Real Madrid but Karim Benzema’s hat trick ensured they would not suffer the ignominy of finishing last in the 2019 Audi Cup as they beat Fenerbahce 5-3 in the third place playoff fixture at the Allianz Arena. Los Blancos have now conceded 16 goals in pre-season and it will be an area of serious concern for manager Zinedine Zidane as the new season approaches.

Fenerbahce, whose tally of 44 goals scored in the 2018-19 Turkish league season was their lowest in over three decades, took the lead twice in the first half before eventually slumping to defeat, with defensive errors also proving to be their undoing.

Here are the player ratings from the game, one from a Spanish newspaper and the other from a Turkish one.

Real Madrid 3-7 Atletico Madrid Champions Cup Player Ratings 2019- How did Joao Felix play?

The first ever Madrid derby outside Europe produced plenty of goals and a rather stunning result as Diego Simeone’s Atleti thrashed Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid 7-3 at the Metlife Stadium in the International Champions Cup.

Here are the player ratings from the Real 3-7 Atleti game from the Spanish press. Joao Felix played well, picking up three stars for his performance, and so did Diego Costa- the latter’s four goals doing enough to earn him three stars despite his second half red card.

Atleti were leading 7-1 at one stage before substitutes Benzema and Javi pulled two goals back for Real. That probably explains the “zero rating” to eight of Real Madrid’s starting XI. The defence and midfield for Los Blancos were pretty ordinary.

Alvaro Morata was perhaps the poorest of Atleti’s starting eleven- the only player to get a single star.
