Premier League table after MW17 this 2023-2024 season (Arsenal first)
Liverpool host Arsenal in a massive clash this weekend that will most likely determine which of the two teams goes into Christmas as league leaders. Mikel Arteta’s Gunners lead Jurgen Klopp’s Reds by a single point going into this clash, which means the winner will top the table on Christmas day. A draw however could see Unai Emery’s Aston Villa move to the top at the expense of both sides.
This Leon Bailey backpass to Emi Martinez (VIDEO BELOW) nearly saw the Jamaican winger score a bizarre own goal in their clash against Brentford. The Aston Villa winger received the ball near the half way line, and opted to play a long back pass that almost caught Martinez unawares. Fortunately for Villa, the ball hit the side netting and went down as one of those “almost” great own goals attempts!
