On this day 18 years ago (5 December, 1999), this Steven Gerrard goal v Sheff Wednesday saw the legendary midfield score his first goal in LFC colours. Gerrard’s goal against Wednesday was Liverpool’s third of the game- they won 4-1 with Sami Hyypia, Danny Murphy and David Thomson also scoring.

This Ryan Bertrand throw in vs Bournemouth could be a candidate for one of the worst throw-ins ever. Saints left back Bertrand produced this throwin effort in his side’s 1-1 draw at St.Mary’s. He was able to laugh it off though!
