German Footballer of the Year 2017 Votes- Mannschaft Germany Player of the Year 2017- Joshua Kimmich

Joshua Kimmich has been named German player of the Year for 2017. The versatile 22 year old Bayern star won an online poll conducted by the national football association, picking up 45.3% of the votes (23,904 out of 52,761). PSG’s Julian Draxler was second, while goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen was third. The poll was among the 11 players who had maximum playing time for the German national football team during the year. Given that Germany sent a relatively young team to the Confederations Cup, this meant that the likes of Jerome Boateng, toni Kroos and Mesut Ozil were NOT in the shortlist.

Ozil is the holder of the German player of the year award, winning it in 2016 and 2015.

Theo Walcott Everton 2018 | Toffees sign Arsenal winger

Everton have moved to make Theo Walcott their second major signing of the winter transfer window after officially signing him from Arsenal. Walcott, who moved to Arsenal as a prodigious teenager from Southampton, never quite hit the heights he was expected to (he was given Thierry Henry’s No.14 jersey), and will hope that the switch to Goodison Park will reignite his chances of making England’s 2018 World Cup squad, perhaps his last shot at international glory. To put it in perspective, Walcott is just three months younger than Alexis Sanchez, another Arsenal player who is regarded as world class, and like Walcott, is also expected to leave the Emirates in the winter window.

As a teenager, Walcott was part of England’s 2006 World Cup squad, but did not play a single game in the tournament, but was not selected for the 2010 and 2014 editions.

Walcott does have their FA Cup medals in his trophy cabinet though, and Everton will hope that the pacy winger will come into his own at Goodison Park alongside Wayne Rooney and fellow new signing Cenk Tosun

How much have Everton paid for Walcott?

He has moved for a reported £20m fee, potentially rising to £25m in the future.

What is the length of Walcott’s Everton contract?

Walcott has signed a three and a half year contract (reportedly worth £110,000 a week), and will be at Goodison Park till the summer of 2021.
