Are Manchester United missing Paul Pogba? Given their recent results, you’d have to say yes- the Red Devils haven’t quite been firing on all cylinders after he was sidelined through injury. Recent defeats against Huddersfield and Chelsea have seen Jose Mourinho’s side fall eight points behind league leaders Man City after just 11 match weeks- roughly 1/3 of the season.

This Nabil Fekir jersey celebration vs Saint-Etienne (GIF VIDEO BELOW) was a controversial moment in the high profile Rhone Valley derby between Lyon and ASSE. Lyon beat their great rivals 5-0- their first win at Stade Geoffrey Guichard for a while, and Fekir opted for this jersey celebration after Lyon’s fifth goal (his second of the evening).

The incensed ASSE fans invaded the pitch. Fekir later said he had “no regrets” over the celebration

Bilic fourth manager to be sacked this season as Hammers board wield axe after falling into relegation zone

Slaven Bilic has become the fourth Premiership manager to be relieved of his responsibilities this season after West Ham’s board opted to show the Croatian gaffer the door following their 4-1 weekend loss to Liverpool. Bilic leaves West Ham after nearly 2 and a half years in charge, with the Hammers currently in the bottom three after winning just two of their opening eleven league games in 2017/18.

Bilic however remains a fan favourite, having presided over one of the most successful seasons in the club’s history- his first one and the club’s last at the Boleyn, when they claimed many big name scalps en route to finishing 7th in the league. Expectations were high in 2016/17 following that record breaking season, but the unavailability of Dimitri Payet, so instrumental in 15/16, saw the club stutter and finally finish in 11th place.
