With the news coming in that German legend Andreas Brehme has passed away, here is his most famous goal- the 1990 World Cup winning penalty for West Germany against Argentina. The Brehme penalty v Argentina came in the 85th minute after Rudi Voller had been fouled and made Franz Beckenbauer a WC manager as both player and coach (also check out this tough online Beckenbauer quiz)

Interestingly, Brehme took this 1990 WC penalty with his right foot. In the 1986 quarterfinal against Mexico, he had scored a penalty with his left foot

This Mario Zagallo goal vs Sweden (VIDEO BELOW) saw the legendary Brazilian forward and manager score a key goal for Brazil in their 1958 World Cup final win.
