Ahead of Liverpool’s Europa League game against Besiktas tonight, here is a look at the last time BJK came to Anfield. It was a Champions League fixture, and the scoreline was very one sided, ending in a record 8-0 win for Liverpool. Yossi Benayoun scored a hat trick for the Reds in front of 41,143 at Anfield on 6th November, 2007. The result was a bit of a surprise, given that Rafa Benitez’s side had just lost 2-1 in Turkey to the same team a fortnight ago.
