New West Ham 2009-10 Away Shirt

English Premier League side West Ham United’s away shirt for the 2009-10 football season has been revealed. The new WHUFC 2009-10 shirt is manufactured by Umbro, the company that also manufactured the new England shirt.

The shirt has navy blue as its base colour. There is a light blue vertical stripe running down the center, with a thin white border. Light blue and white are also the colours on the collar. We’ve got the Umbro logo on one side, with the West Ham crest on the other. Sponsors SBOBET have their logos in the centre ( however for the children’s shirt, the SBOBET logo is replaced by the Bobby Moore Cancer Fund logo).

Navy blue shorts and socks complete the strip.

The new WHUFC Goalkeeper shirt has undergone a massive change. Robert Green wore black and orange in the season gone by. This season he will wear a shirt which has silver effects (check photo below)

New Everton FC 2009-10 Home Kit

English Premier League side Everton FC have revealed their new home strip for the 2009-10 season.

The kit, manufactured by Le Coq Sportif, was unveiled at the new Everton Two @ Liverpool One store in Liverpool city centre by Howard Kendall.

The shirt is primarily blue, as you would expect from Everton, but has a white V inspired by the kit worn by the Toffees over 2 and a half decades back in the 1984/1985 season. On one side, you have the Everton crest. The Le Coq Sportif logo is on the other, with sponsors Chang present below the V portion of the shirt.

It is worn with white shorts, with blue as the alternative home shorts option.

France 0-1 Nigeria in St.Etienne ( Joseph Akpala 32′)

Joseph Akpala’s 32nd minute strike gives Nigeria a shock win over 1998 World Cup winners France in St.Etienne. Great win for the Nigerians ahead of their World Cup qualifying game against Kenya in Abuja.
