The draws for the semifinals of the Champions League and Europa League have been conducted today (April 21, 2017). The CL semi draw has pitted both Madrid sides against each other and Juve’s reward for eliminating Barcelona is a semi against the tournament’s surprise packages AS Monaco.

Here is a fantastic, must watch post-match interview of Borussia Dortmund’s Nuri Sahin by former striker Jan-Aage Fjortoft regarding the former’s views on the incident that originally forced Dortmund-Monaco to be postponed and sent Marc Bartra to hospital.

A very genuine interview from Sahin- you can see that he is very affected by the events. Mentions he wasn’t even thinking about football until he got on to the pitch.

“There is so much more than football, and last night we felt it”

Interview in English- not the first language of either Sahin or Fjortoft, but both conducted themselves wonderfully.

Definitely worth a watch.
