Southampton’s relegation fears deepen after Olivier Giroud comes off the bench to inspire Chelsea to a 3-2 win
The FA Cup semifinal draw for 2017/18 was conducted earlier this evening (March 18, 2018) and we’ve got two mouthwatering semifinal ties. Spurs will square off against Manchester United while Chelsea will take on Southampton, who ended Wigan’s giant-killing run in the quarterfinals. Petr Cech and Gianfranco Zola were present at the draw. Games will take place at Wembley on April 21/22, 2018

A rather unfortunate incident this one, involving Lynsey Hipgrave, as the television presenter mixed up the teams just after the FA Cup semifinal draw had been made. The draw pitted United v Spurs and Chelsea against Southampton, but Hipgrave read it out as United v Chelsea and Spurs v Southampton
