Former Liverpool player Andrea Dossena was arrested after being accused of shoplifting at Harrods yesterday (Tuesday afternoon April 7, 2015). Dossena, 33 and his partner 31, were taken to a West London police station after Metropolitan Police were called to the store on Brompton Road. Dossena currently plies his trade for League One side Leyton Orient. Both were bailed pending further enquiries.
It is being said that Dossena’s three year old son inadvertently put a book into his bag, which set the security alarms buzzing as they left the shop.
Liverpool fans may also remember that defender Glen Johnson was once arrested for “stealing” a toilet seat many years ago. Johnson was then playing for Portsmouth on loan from Chelsea
