Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam have beaten off competition from Chelsea and Barcelona to win the signature of Danish youngster Christian Eriksen. Eriksen, who currently plays for Odense Boldklub, will join his team mates at the Amsterdam Arena on January 1. He will join Ajax’s renowned youth program.
16 year old Eriksen, born on Valentine’s Day 1992 in Middlefart, Denmark, has already been capped for the Danish national team at U-17 level. He has signed a two and a half year contract ( January 2009 to 1 July 2011)
Hope he will fulfill expectations!
Not much known about him, but we do know a lot about Ajax’s ability to produce quality youngsters.
