Danish midfielder Lasse Schone has agreed to join Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam on a three year contract. The 25 year old will move to the Amsterdam Arena from NEC Nijmegen on a free transfer in the summer and will stay with Ajax till 2015.
Schone, whose exploits with NEC also saw him linked with several other Eredivisie outfits, started his career with Lygnby and has played for Heerenveen and De Graasfchap in the Netherlands apart.
Schone is expected to feature in the Danish squad for Euro 2012. The Danes are in Group B, which also features the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal.
