Swansea City have released their new 2012/13 away kit today ( May 3, 2012), joining Norwich City ( 12/13 home kit) and Chelsea (12/13 home kit) in the list of early kit releases from the Premier Legaue for the 2012-2013 season.
The Swans’ new away jersey 2012/2013 is a tribute to their Welsh heritage as it comes in the colours of the Welsh flag. The new away shirt is red in colour, the shorts are white and the socks are green. The word “Jacks” is enscribed on the back of the kit in gold.
This away kit is Swansea’s centenary jersey, and the Adidas as well as the 32Bet logos are white in colour.
Nice choice of colours and idea, but wish Adidas could have been more inventive with the template design
Absolutely love this kit. Especially as it seems that we’re the only club capable of representing Wales at the top level!

The badge is not a new design but the original Swansea Town FC badge on the kit in 1912. It will be on the Swansea kit for its centenary year 2012-13 only.

Spoke to Scott Sinclair this week and he told me new home kit is in his own words AWESOME!!!
It is White with stripes, club crest, Adidas logo, etc all GOLD..
The design is to continue the clubs celebration of its centenary season…
Furthermore the goalies top is a sort of pastel blue. the sleeve design is similar to that of Chelsea new strip in that it looks like a short sleeved top with long sleeves stitched on as an after thought… (see Chelsea strip to understand) the club crest is again GOLD and was in fact briefly shown on Swans website by mistake on morning of unveil of new away kit, before being quickly removed!!!
