Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has been banned for three matches by the FA following a Regulatory Commission hearing on Tuesday. Drogba allegedly threw a coin into the Burnley section of the crowd during the Blues’ Carling Cup game last week. The Ivory Coast striker had apologised for his behaviour after the incident, but a ban was always on the cards given that Jamie Carragher had also got a three match ban for a similar offence six years ago.
