Bundesliga outfit Cologne have officially announced that German striker Lukas Podolski will be joining Arsenal for the 2012/13 season. The announcement of Podolski signing for Arsenal comes just days after another German club, Werder Bremen, broke the news of Marko Marin moving to Arsenal’s London neighbours Chelsea.
Neither Gervinho nor Park Chu-Young have set the stage on fire, meaning that skipper Robin Van Persie has had to labour on his own upfront at the Emirates this season.
Apart from Koln, Podolski has also played for FC Bayern and has already notched up close to 100 caps for Germany despite being only 26 years old.

His a good player.. maybe not as Messi or David villa.. But Arsenal have key roles for his players.. We dont wanna make the same mistake like last time.. Arsenal are gonna have a great attacking force next year with Podolski in the club. Alongside Van Persie the 2 of then are going to terrorize the Prem. Im a chelsea fan at heart but i know that the Gunner’s attacking force is gonna be a huge threat.
