  1. Great atmosphere inside Fir Park. 95 % MFC fans with a few greasy Greeks making up the numbers. Motherwell did the unthinkable by letting giving the visitors an early away goal.
That settled them down and they started to dominate midfield. Few efforts on target. Half-time could not come quick enough for The Steel Men who looked outclassed for periods. Second-half saw a better Motherwell performance and they managed to dominate midfield and were unlucky not to score from a cracking free-kick. The home side looked the more likely to score when mid-way thru the half they were caught short in defence with a swift counter-attack. The clinical finish was a killer blow which the Randolph should have had covered. Shots from Ojamma and Humphreys were denied at the other end. Yet despite the scoreline there was little to separate the teams throughout. Good value for £30, despite the dissapointing scoreline.
