Manchester City have unveiled their first kit as part of a multi year deal with Nike today in New York. The Citizens’ new 2013/14 home kit will be worn later this week in the United States when they take on Europa League champions Chelsea in a friendly. The home shirt contains blue trim which owes its origin to the colour of the socks worn by City as part of one of their earliest kits way back in 1892
Barcelona and Nike have today ( 21st May, 2013) unveiled the new FCB kits for 2013/14. The home kit sees a return to stripes, with the away kit paying homage to the club’s Catalan heritage by using the Senyera colours. The home goalkeeper kit for 2013/2014 was also unveiled. The kits will also bear the Qatar Airways logo following Barca’s signing of a new shirt sponsorship deal.
