Former Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh’s brace (VIDEO BELOW) saw Crystal Palace produce another Cupset as they stunned third place Southampton 3-2 at St.Mary’s. Palace’s win meant that the top three in the Premiership table as it stands currently- Chelsea, City and Southampton, were ALL knocked out today.
Yaya Sanogo also did well, scoring one and assisting one for Chamakh.

The FA Cup today (January 24, 2015) saw quite a few Cupsets, but non more than the losses of Chelsea and Man City, sitting one and two in the Premier League table respectively. Both teams were playing at home against lower ranked opposition and were safe bankers to advance to the next round of the competition.
Chelsea lead 2-0 at one stage against League One Bradford, but somehow lost 4-2 and conceded thrice in the last quarter of the game. The Bantams were 25/1 at the beginning of the game to beat Jose Mourinho’s men.
The odds were shorter on Boro, currently second in the Championship and having promotion aspirations themselves, but still reasonably long at 10/1. However the Riverside outfit, who once beat City 8-1 some years ago, shocked the 45,000 that had turned up at the Etihad by winning 2-0.
