This Daniel Amartey injury v West Ham saw the Leicester defender leave the field with a broken ankle/leg, a rather ghastly looking injury as he was attempting to stop Michail Antonio. Amartey was stretchered off and given oxygen, and is likely to be out for an extended period of time. Not for the squeamish, this injury- no other angles of it were shown on air, which is a reasonable indicator of how serious it was. The game had additional extra time after his injury, but finished in a 1-1 draw.
