The shortlist of the 2015 Ballon D’Or has been announced, and there is only one British player in the shortlist- Welsh superstar Gareth Bale. Barcelona and Real Madrid dominate the shortlist, with Bayern also contributing the likes of Lewandowski, Muller, Robben and Neuer.
Chelsea and Arsenal have Eden Hazard and Alexis Sanchez respectively on the list, with Man City contributing 3 representatives- Aguero, De Bruyne and Yaya Toure. Paul Pogba is Juve’s representative (Vidal is also on the list) while Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the sole Ligue 1 nominee on the list
