Bottom placed side St.Pauli are thrashed 8-1 by FC Bayern in the Bundesliga. Three goals for Mario Gomez, two for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery and one for Daniel Van Buyten as Bayern run riot . It was Gomez’s fifth hat trick for Bayern this season and also confirmed St.Pauli’s relegation from the Bundesliga. Sankt Pauli will like to remove the memories of this 8-1 defeat from their minds as soon as possible as they prepare for life in the second tier of German football.

Adidas New Bayern Munich Kit 11-12 Home

This is the new Bayern Munich home kit 11/12 ( 2011/2012) that was unveiled by the Bavarian giants on April 19, 2011. Adidas have introduced a new red & gold home kit for FC Bayern and also announced the extension of their kit deal with the Bavarian giants till 2020.

The new Bayern kit consists of a shirt that is primarily red in colour. The Adidas stripes on the shoulders are golden in colour, with the Adidas logo and the Bayern club crest also present on the shirt. It is a marked difference in colour from Bayern’s 10/11 home kit that was a red and white striped creation.

T-Mobile are the sponsors of the new Bayern Munich home strip 2011/12. The home shorts in the kit are also red in colour ( see photos below). The new 11/12 red and gold shirt is available to buy from 13th May 2011 onwards.

Bayern Munich reclaim third place in the league table from Hannover as they thrash Bayer Leverkusen 5-1 in Munich. A hat-trick for Mario Gomez gave Bayern the win against second placed Leverkusen, who had only one goal- in the second half from Eren Derdiyok.
