Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer completely misread Tzavellas’s long range pass, and it ended up in Tzavellas scoring a goal from inside his own half. Not a goal Neuer would be proud of conceding though, with the likes of Manchester United reportedly pondering over him as a transfer target.
Unfortunately for Frankfurt, this incredible Georgios Tzavellas goal against Schalke was not enough to prevent defeat to the Royal Blues, with Schalke winning 2-1.
