This Martin Odegaard pass vs Alaves for Mikel Oyarzabal’s first goal saw the Norwegian teenager produce a stunning defence splitting pass as he helped Sociedad take the lead in their midweek clash. The Odegaard assist for Oyarzabal’s goal came in the 19th minute and was Sociedad’s first of the game- they eventually won 3-0

Here are the Spanish newspaper player ratings from Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Osasuna that saw Zinedine Zidane’s side go top of the league. Vincius Jr scored a great goal to set Real on their way, and Rodrygo doubled their advantage- the latter being the second fastest Real player to score on their league debut after Ronaldo.
The papers were full of praise for both Vincius and Rodrygo, but were disappointed by Luka Jovic. AS chose not to rate him, while Sport gave Jovic a player rating of 4/10. AS also thought Areola’s performance was worthy of only a single star, but Mundo thought otherwise, giving the goalkeeper three stars.
