Everton FC Hillsborough 96 Tribute VIDEO BELOW- September 17, 2012
Everton FC today paid an emotional tribute to the 96 victims of the 1989 Hillsborough disaster prior to kickoff of their league fixture against Newcastle United at Goodison Park on 17 September, 2012. The Toffees’ Hillsborough tribute saw two mascots- a young girl dressed in Everton blue ( with the number 9 on her back) and a small boy in the red of neighbours Liverpool ( with the number 6 on his back), come together before the commencement of the game as they led the players out of the tunnel.
