Greek side Aris Thessaloniki qualified for the knockout stages of the Europa League at the expense of defending champions Atletico Madrid as they beat Rosenborg 2-0. Both goals for Aris came in stoppage time of their respective halves.

Another draw for Juventus in their Europa League group campaign- this time against group winners Manchester City. Giannetti put the Bianconeri ahead before half time with Jo equalising thirteen minutes from time for City.

Besiktas’ 2-0 win over Rapid Vienna was their fourth win in the group. Besiktas had beaten Rapid 2-1 in Vienna when the two sides had met earlier in the group.
