Birmingham City 1-0 Chelsea ( Lee Bowyer)
A solitary Lee Bowyer strike condemned Chelsea to defeat at St.Andrews’ and allowed Man United to catch up with the Blues. It was Chelsea’s second consecutive defeat after their shock 3-0 loss to Sunderland last week at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea bossed possession and had plenty of shots but Birmingham put in a resolute defensive performance to claim a point.
Manchester United 2-0 Wigan Athletic ( Patrice Evra, Javier Hernandez)
Goals in either half from Patrice Evra and Javier Hernandez gave Man United a 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic on November 20, 2010. Wigan finished the game with nine men following red cards to Antolin Alcaraz and Hugo Rodallega.
