This Philippe Coutinho goal vs Girona saw the Brazilian star score his first ever Barca goal in their league clash at the Nou Camp on 24 February, 2018. Coutinho’s goal v Girona was Barca’s 5th of the game- a curling stunner from the edge of the box. Barcelona won 6-1, with Luis Suarez, the man who assisted Coutinho’s goal, netting a hat trick.
The Argentine press opted to run a story featuring famous actors who look like Barca superstar Lionel Messi. A photo of Dustin Hoffman, then 37, shows the legendary actor’s striking similarity to Messi, especially when the duo opt for long hair.
Other names thrown up include Roman Polanski, Fede Bal, Mitchel Musso and Adam Young, but it’s the younger Hoffman who looks the most like Messi in the pics below.
The winner of 2 Oscars and 6 Golden Globes, Hoffman is now 80, but the pic, taken in 1975, has gone viral on social media, with several users remarking that if a movie had to be made, the 75 Hoffman would’ve been a perfect fit for portraying Messi.
