Moments like these often get forgotten, but German keeper Marc- Andre Ter Stegen was one of the unsung heros of Barcelona’s stunning 6-1 triumph over PSG in the Champions League last night. With the score at 5-1 deep into second half stoppagte time, Ter Stegen went up for a free kick that PSG cleared out of their box. Barca’s Arda Turan was caught in possession, leaving the home side vulnerable to a PSG counter attack, but Ter Stegen ran back to make a decisive tackle and then earned a free kick after being fouled by Verratti. Barcelona scored the sixth goal from that decisive set piece, thus earning their spot in history
