New Messi15 Platinum Boots 2016- Special Edition Ballon D’Or Commemorative Platinum Cleats Adidas
To celebrate Lionel Messi winning a record 5th Ballon D’Or, Adidas have unveiled a new set of commemorative Messi 15 platinum boots.
The new Messi Platinum Cleats are based on the current Messi15 range of boots, and use Argentine premium leather, with pure metallic platinum elements added to it.
The Messi logo and Adidas logo are both made of platinum and on the back of the boot, you can see four gold dots and one platinum embellished dot (to celebrate Messi’s haul of 5 Golden Balls)
On the insole of the new Messi platinum cleats, the words el mas grande de todos los tiempos (the greatest of all time in Spanish) can be seen.
2015 Ballon D’Or Winner- Lionel Messi- Record Fifth Golden Ball Award for Barca star Ceremony Video
Argentine and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has been crowned the 2015 Ballon D’Or winner in a function today (January 11, 2015) in Zurich. It is a record 5th Ballon D’Or award for Messi, adding to previous triumphs in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. Messi also announced that he intends to finish his career at Barcelona, meaning that he is unlikely to make a move to the Premiership later in his career.
