The draws for the semifinals of the Champions League and Europa League were conducted earlier today (April 15, 2016). Atletico Madrid’s reward for stunning holders Barcelona was a tasty tie against Barcelona while Man City’s maiden semifinal will be against Real Madrid. It also means that the possibility of a Bayern-City final (Pep Guardiola’s current team vs his future employers) is very much on the cards.
In the Europa League, Villarreal will take on Liverpool while Shakhtar and Sevilla square off in the other semi.
