It was a forgettable game for Paris SG, as demonstrated by their average team rating of 2.9/10. There were several players with a 2/10 rating from L’Equipe, chief among them Dembele, Kvaratskhelia and Nuno Mendes.

Referee announced for Chelsea-PSG CWC final- same ref who was in charge of CFC’s QF game!

The referee for Chelsea’s Club World Cup final against Paris SG has been officially announced, and it’s Iranian-Australian referee Alireza Faghani.

Faghani has refereed three games at the 2025 Club World Cup so far, and one of them has already involved Chelsea- he was in charge of CFC’s 2-1 win over Brazilian outfit Palmeiras in the quarterfinals.

Faghani was also the referee at the 2015 Club World Cup final (when FC Barcelona beat River Plate in the final)

Club World Cup Round of 16 Bracket- Chelsea’s potential opponents & route to the final

The Round of 16 draw for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup has been completed, and here’s a look at whom Chelsea FC could face and whom they have to defeat if they are to progress to the final.

Chelsea surprisingly finished second in Group D (D2), which meant they’d face the winners of Group C (C1) in the Round of 16. Bayern were originally expected to win Group C, but surprisingly lost to Benfica on the final group day, which has made the Portuguese side Chelsea’s opponents in the Round of 16
