Tottenham Hotspur create plenty of chances, but some excellent goalkeeping from West Ham keeper Robert Green, including one fabulous save from a Gareth Bale free kick, keeps the scoreline at 0-0 at the Lane. A precious point for West Ham, but another frustrating result for Champions League chasing Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur survive a nervy night against Italian league leaders AC Milan to book their spot in the last eight of the Champions League. Milan dominated the fixture, but Spurs did just enough to keep a clean sheet and win 1-0 on aggregate. Harry Redknapp becomes the first English manager to reach the quarterfinals of the Champions League ( the Champions League era, not the European Cup era)
