SL Benfica set up a semifinal meeting with fellow Portuguese side Braga after drawing 2-2 with PSV Eindhoven away from home. PSV were 2-0 but Benfica picked up two further goals to draw the tie at 2-2 and win it 6-3 on aggregate.

Final score:- Spartak vs Porto 2-5 ( Dzyuba, Ari/ Hulk, Rodriguez, Guarin, Falcao, Ruben) ( Porto win 10-3 on aggregate)
Porto beat Spartak Moscow 5-2 in Moscow to pick up a 10-3 win on aggregate in this Europa League quarterfinal tie. The Portuguese outfit had beaten Spartak 5-1 in the first leg. Five different scorers for Porto vs Spartak.
The nominations for the Scottish PFA Player of the Year 2011 Award have been announced. The PFA Player of the Year Award for 2010 was won by Rangers midfielder Steven Davis. This years’ SPFA Player of the Year nominations has two Celtic players, one Kilmarnock player and one Rangers player.
The Celtic duo are Gary Hooper and Emilio Izaguirre while the player from Kilmarnock, as expected by many, is playmaker Alexei Eremenko Jr. Rangers midfielder Steven Naismith completes the list of nominations for the SPFA Player of the Year 2011. Hooper is also in the running to win Young Player of the Year for 2011.
