Leon Best, making his first ever league start for Newcastle, capped it with a splendid hat trick as Newcastle crushed West Ham 5-0 on January 5, 2011.
Best scored two goals in the first half and one after the interval.
This Gerrard penalty miss against Blackburn would probably have not made a big difference to the eventual result ( 3-1 to Blackburn), but it would certainly have set up a tense last few minutes for the home side.
Gerrard’s missed penalty vs Blackburn came just minutes after he had pulled one back for Liverpool.
This Jose Bosignwa own goal vs Wolves sent Chelsea crashing to a 1-0 defeat at Molineux on January 5, 2011.
Bosingwa scored a fifth minute own goal after diverting Stephen Hunt’s corner into his own goal.
