Round 31- Delight for Everton; more trouble for Spurs

Another round of Premier League action is done and dusted, and we had some very interesting results in Week 31. There were eight games played (City and AFC didn’t feature because of the League Cup final)

After surviving relegation by the skin of their teeth over the last few seasons, even the most die-hard Everton fans wouldn’t have expected their team to push for Europe this campaign. However manager David Moyes has engineered quite the turnaround at the club and striker Beto’s brace saw them convincingly beat Chelsea 3-0 at home.

AFC Opponent watch- Leverkusen 1-1 Bayern Player Ratings 2026 (from Bild & Kicker)

Arsenal are due to host Bayer Leverkusen in the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie tomorrow at the Emirates Stadium. Leverkusen drew 1-1 with Bayern Munich in the German league over the weekend, and here are the player ratings for that game from big German papers Bild and Kicker.

Nicolas Jackson was red carded for Bayern, and that, not surprisingly, resulted in the Chelsea forward receiving the worst possible 6 player rating. Bild liked Sven Ulreich’s performance in goal, giving him a 1 rating. In comparison to Ulreich, Leverkusen keeper Blaswand got a 4 rating.

Youngest Premier League Goal scorers for Arsenal- Dowman, Fabregas & others

Here is the list of Arsenal FC’s youngest ever Premier League goal scorers. Max Dowman currently holds for the record for being AFC’s youngest ever goal scorer in the PL at the age of 16 years and 73 days when he netted in their 2:0 win over Everton on 14 March 2026.

Dowman is also the youngest ever goal scorer in Premier League history (across all clubs; not just Arsenal). Interestingly, Dowman’s record was set against Everton, and the person whose record he broke was a former Everton player (James Vaughan at 16 years and 270 days set in April 2005)
