Real Madrid’s chances of winning the league take a major hit after defeat in a home clasico against Barcelona
France and Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann landed himself in hot water after posting a photo of himself dressed as a basketball player with a darkened face and an afro wig. Griezmann was accused of racism following this “blackface” photo.
The photo was deleted, but Griezmann also added tweets saying “If I hurt some people I’m sorry” and “Calm Down Everyone, I’m a fan of Harlem Globtrotters and this beautiful era, it’s a tribute”
Griezmann has been long linked with a move away from Atleti, with Barcelona and Manchester United heavily rumoured to be interested in securing the striker’s services, and a switch expected next summer
