This Tomas Soucek red card vs Fulham was a very controversial decision by referee Mike Dean from West Ham’s 0-0 draw against the Cottagers on 6 February, 2021. Soucek elbowed Mitrovic in the face, albeit accidentally, but VAR deemed it worthy of a review, and after a lengthy look at the screen, Dean sent Soucek off. Even Mitrovic, the recipient of the foul, felt that Soucek didn’t deserve a red card.
These Jesse Lingard goals vs Aston Villa saw the forward, score his first goals for West Ham on debut for them against the Villans. The first Lingard goal v Villa came in the 56th minute while the second Lingard goal against Villa came in the 83rd minute. Together they helped West Ham win 3-1 at Villa Park
