Here is a look at the Premier League table as it stood on 1 January 2025 (at the beginning of the New Year). This was also the PL log at the halfway stage of the current 24/25 season (19 game weeks had been played at this stage of the 38 game season)

This table was after after the Brentford 1-3 Arsenal game on New Year’s day. Every team has played 19 rounds, with the exception of Liverpool & Everton (who have a game in hand because of Storm Darragh postponing their fixture earlier in the season)

Week 16- Premier League Table after Manchester derby 2024-25 | Chelsea 2 points behind LFC

Here is a look at the Premier League table after 16 games in the current 2024/25- also the EPL standings after the Manchester derby which was won in stunning fashion by Ruben Amorim’s Man United.

Chelsea are now just two points behind leaders Liverpool, although the latter do have a game in hand (their fixture against Everton that was postponed due to Storm Darragh)

Manchester City’s loss to Man United has seen Pep Guardiola’s team fall out of the top 4, with Nottingham Forest taking their spot.

Another surprise entrant in the top six are Bournemouth, who have taken advantage of Aston Villa (away loss to Forest) and Brighton (home loss to Crystal Palace) in GW15. The Cherries drew 1-1 with West Ham last night, but it was enough to catapult them into 6th place.

Premier League Table after Week 10 2024-25 | Forest third; Arsenal out of top 4

Here is a look at the Premier League table for the 24/25 season after 10 games. Week 10 had a couple of surprise results, with Arsenal and Manchester City both losing to Newcastle and Bournemouth respectively.

Interestingly, Nottingham Forest are now third in the table after GW10- they beat West Ham in this game week to jump from 7th to 3rd. Forest also have the second best defensive record in the EPL currently- only Liverpool have conceded fewer goals!

Manchester United drew 1-1 with Chelsea, but their tally of 12 points after 10 games represents their worst start to the league season in the modern Premier League era.

Arsenal were third in the log after Round 9; but this loss to NUFC has seen them drop to 5th, with Chelsea now in the top four. The two teams will do battle next week- that promises to be an epic clash.
