How did Eriksen, Neto & others fare- Newspaper player ratings for Denmark 1-0 Portugal 2025

Here is a look at the player ratings for Denmark vs Portugal from some of the European sports newspapers following the former’s 1-0 win in their UNL quarterfinal first leg.

Christian Eriksen missed a penalty for Denmark, who still managed to win 1-0 thanks to a goal from substitute Rasmus Hojlund.

The only player on either side to get three stars in Spanish newspaper Diario AS’ ratings was Denmark’s Isaksen.

Most of the Danish players got two stars, but a notable exception was Man United veteran Eriksen, whose missed spot kick ensured he finished with a single star, the lowest rating among the Danish starters.

L’Equipe player ratings Croatia 2-0 France 2025- How did Saliba, Konate, Gvardiol fare?

Here is a look at how some of the big French newspapers rated Les Bleus’ players following their 2-0 defeat against Croatia in the first leg of their Nations League QF on Thursday night. France lost 2-0 to Croatia in Split, with Ante Budimir and Ivan Perisic scoring for the hosts.

French sports paper L’Equipe wasn’t pleased with Les Bleus’ performance in Split, giving them a team rating of just 4.1/10.

Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate got the worst player rating in their books, with a 2/10 for the CB. His defensive partner, Arsenal’s William Saliba, only fared marginally better with a 3/10 rating. Konate was replaced at half time by Bayern’s Dayot Upamecano.

On the Croatian side, Man City defender Josko Gvardiol got a 7/10, which was the highest player rating on either side (shared with some other Croatian players). His MCFC team mate Mateo Kovacic however only got a 5/10 from L’Equipe.

Here is a look at the Real Madrid vs Man City 2025 UCL player ratings from the Spanish and European press following Los Blancos’ win over MCFC in their playoff tie. Real won 3-1 at home to win the tie 6-3 on aggregate.

City are the only English team to be eliminated from the UCL this season- Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa all directly progressed to the Round of 16.

City’s next game after this Real Madrid defeat is a home one against Liverpool this weekend.

Kylian Mbappe got a 9/10 player rating from the French newspaper, who are known for their notoriously tough player ratings. No Man City player got a rating of more than 4/10 from L’Equipe, with Gundogan and Ruben Dias given a 2/10 for their performances. Khusanov and Marmoush both got a 4/10, as did Nico Gonzalez and keeper Ederson.
