Arsenal slumped to a 3-0 loss at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final as Manchester City won their first trophy of the Guardiola era against Arsene Wenger’s side. The Gunners did start positively but fell behind after Mustafi’s error allowed Sergio Aguero to score from goalkeeper Claudio Bravo’s long punt (a very un-City like goal, if we may put it that way), and put in a dire second half performance that will lead to renewed calls for their manager’s dismissal.

The likes of Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were disappointing, as the ratings show. Shkodran Mustafi also came in for plenty of flack- perhaps the worst performing Arsenal player on the day according to these aggregated ratings.
