This Chalobah Arter Incident (GIF VIDEO BELOW) was a controversial moment in Watford’s game against Bournemouth on August 19, 2017. Watford’s Nathaniel Chalobah received the ball in the box and as he was getting ready to take a shot on goal, Bournemouth’s Harry Arter shouted “leave it”. With Arter behind Chalobah, the latter couldn’t see him, and chose not to take a shot, thinking that the voice was that of a team-mate.
By the rule-book, that should’ve been a booking and an indirect free kick against Arter.
