Liverpool had taken the lead through Milan Jovanic before Reina’s blunder allowed Bonfim to equalise for Steaua.
Stoke City 2-0 Liverpool ( Ricardo Fuller, Kenwyne Jones)
Stoke moved above Liverpool in the league table as they beat the Reds 2-0 at the Britannia Stadium on November 13, 2010.
A scrappy opening goal from Ricardo Fuller and a nice finish from Kenwyne Jones gave the Potters a rare victory over the Reds. This, in fact, was Stoke City’s first win over Liverpool in 26 years.
Liverpool looked a shadow of the side that had downed Chelsea a week ago and questions will again be asked about manager Roy Hodgson.
Liverpool also had Lucas sent off late in the game.
Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea ( Fernando Torres two goals)
A brace from Nando Torres gave Liverpool a shock win over leaders Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday, November 7, 2010.
This sees Chelsea’s lead at the top of the table cut to two points, while Liverpool now have three consecutive wins in the league.
Torres’ second goal was pure class and it will come as a relief to several Liverpool fans that their star striker is back in business.
