Real Madrid’s players wore shirts with “A Por La 15” written on the back after their stunning late comeback win over Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu.
Real have won 14 European titles and will be aiming for their 15th one (hence A Por La 15) when they face Dortmund in the 2023/24 Champions League final.
Brazilian star Rodrygo had “Pray for RS” written under his shirt during the second leg of Real Madrid’s Champions League semifinal against Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu. The words were revealed when he missed an early chance for Real (saved by Neuer) and covered his face with his jersey.
What does Pray for RS mean?
The Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul (RS) has been very badly affected by floods, and Rodrygo’s message was to bring the world’s attention to the situation there.
PSG had 30 shots, but only 5 of them were on target.
They also hit the woodwork from a few low xG chances (Mendes, Vitinha). Their best chance on xG went to Warren Zaire-Emery in the 47th minute (xG 0.33). Goncalo Ramos also wasted a couple of decent opportunities (60′, 63′), as did Mbappe (86′)
