Wolfsburg win the title with 69 points, two ahead of defending champions Bayern Munich. Disappointment for Werder Bremen, who lost the UEFA Cup final a few days ago to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Bayern beat VfB Stuttgart but it was not enough to win the Bundesliga as leaders Wolfsburg clinched their first championship with a 5-1 thrashing of Werder Bremen. However Bayern do get the automatic Champions League spot.

Jens Lehmann should have got a hand to this one. Franck Ribery runs into the area, and aims to get the ball across to the Bayern strikers. Khalid Boulahrouz tries to intercept, and the ball goes into the Stuttgart goal.
