A rather interesting little record was set in the Austria vs San Marino World Cup 2026 qualifier game on 9 October, 2025-EVERY starting outfield player either had a goal or an assist to their name.

Austria are currently coached by Ralf Rangnick, who was also briefly Man United manager. Former MUFC medio Marcel Sabitzer had two assists to his name.

The best French players against Iceland, according to L’Equipe, were forward Kylian Mbappe and midfielder Manu Kone, both of whom got a 7/10.
